Chemsultants Expands Solvent Coating Capability

Chemsultants International now offers full-service pilot coating and contract manufacturing using solvent-based adhesive, coating, and polymer technologies to its customers in up to 24” coated widths. In addition to emulsion and 100%-solids technology, expanded capacity is available for the development, scaleup, and small-scale manufacturing of solution-based coated products.
The expanded capabilities are due to Chemsultants International’s 2009 installation of a regenerative thermal oxidizer to accommodate two new narrow-web coating lines. The commercial-scale unit operates using MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology), as required by the EPA.
