tesa tape, inc., an affiliate of tesa SE, has introduced two new specialty products with silicone adhesive systems designed for temporary masking applications. tesa® 50650 and tesa® 50600 join the company’s masking product line, which includes general-purpose and highly specialized masking tapes.
These tapes were developed with specialty masking and holding applications in mind. Constructed of a durable polyester film backing coated with a distinctive silicone adhesive, tesa 50650 and 50600 are designed to perform well in harsh and demanding conditions, including withstanding temperatures of up to 428°F for up to 30 minutes. The resilient polyester backing is resistant to abrasions, as well as to chemical and thermal elements, and the tapes’ crisp edges produce sharp paint lines.
