Crop-Saving Adhesives (11/22/10)
A biological adhesive may be able to prevent crop destruction by restricting the insect population. Researchers have found that the adhesives (containing insecticide or synthetic pheromones) would pass from one insect to another via normal contact. In this way, the adhesives do not contaminate other species or water.
