Home » CHARLES ROSS & SON CO.: Laboratory Dual-Shaft Mixer
A new laboratory dual-shaft mixer has been designed for operation to 15-psig internal pressure. The completely enclosed mixer features shrouded components for safety and improved aesthetics. Many standard features, which were once offered as optional features, include reverse vertical lift to raise the mix can to mixing position; a self-contained control panel, including a single-point hook-up; variable speed controls and inverter duty motors; dual-handed raise and lower controls; sight/charge ports in the vacuum cover; a jacketed mix can with discharge valve; and a thermocouple inside of the mix can. In addition, the mixer is available with a new range of optional features, including sanitary designs, special benches and a vacuum.
This equipment is designed to mix a variety of products requiring a combination of low- and high-speed agitation for medium- to high-viscosity products up to approximately 1 million cps. Dual-shaft mixers are manufactured from 1-2000 gal capacity and are available for testing and trial rentals prior to purchase.
