From January 29-31, COMPOSITES 2013 will draw more than 3,500 composites professionals to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The show, which is the largest of its kind in North America, is produced by the American Composites Manufacturing Association (ACMA).
WHO
COMPOSITES 2013 will provide educational sessions and networking events for manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other industry experts from 36 countries. High-level decision makers will represent more than 650 companies from 40+ market segments at the show. In addition, university representatives will appear on behalf of 32 schools that perform composites research and educate future industry personnel.
At the show, expert composites manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and academic researchers will deliver a variety of technical papers and presentations.
Topics will include the latest technology, manufacturing process developments and marketing trends. All presentations will be published in an online archive.
WHAT
COMPOSITES 2013 will provide a diverse, vital forum for business, learning and networking. Over 100 educational sessions will offer new ideas and information to enlighten industry professionals. Networking events will include an opening welcome reception, an awards luncheon, and a handful of smaller, specialized industry networking reception events for emerging markets, ICPA, pultrusion, infrastructure/corrosion, building/construction/architecture, and international industries.
At the COMPOSITES exhibition on January 30 and 31, attendees will be able to browse product displays and demonstrations from hundreds of U.S. and international exhibitors. Several special pavilions, including the Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE) program pavilion, will also be open on the show floor.
The ACE program honors excellence in three composites categories: Design, Manufacturing, and Market Growth. The 2012 award recipients can be viewed on the COMPOSITES website, and 2013 winners will be showcased at the pavilion.
In addition to the educational opportunities and the exhibition, a number of ACMA committee meetings will be held during COMPOSITES 2013. Most of these meetings will be open to all attendees. Spouses and guests of COMPOSITES attendees will have the opportunity to join an Orlando sightseeing program as well.
