RheocalcT software has been released that can reportedly deliver total control of both instrument and test parameters. The software can give the operator the ability to conduct fully automated viscosity testing from a dedicated PC when using the new DV3T touch-screen rheometer and the new DV2T touch-screen viscometer.

The software’s user interface reportedly offers an enhanced range of choices for test method creation and data gathering/analysis. Loop functions can allow performance of repetitive tasks on test samples that require viscosity measurement at multiple rotational speeds, different temperature set points, and discreet time intervals. Viscosity data averaging is now possible for individual tasks within a test step or over multiple steps in the total test program.
