Plasmatreat USA Inc. recently announced that its lab in Elgin, Illinois, is now open to support testing and material characterization needs of companies. Equipped with advanced atmospheric plasma systems and a full range of state-of-the-art equipment, Plasmatreat’s team is ready to deliver precise, tailored solutions for projects.
To make it even easier to get started, Plasmatreat is waiving lab fees for any project under eight hours through December 19, 2025.
Plasmatreat’s process involves three steps:
- Understand your challenges and goals
- Collaborate on a Design of Experiments (DOE) for your approval
- Deliver a practical, technically sound surface modification solution
The company also offers other methods, which include:
- Surface Energy – Measures wettability, adhesion, and bonding potential with coatings, adhesives, or paints
- Salt Spray Chamber – Used to evaluate the corrosion resistance of coatings such as AntiCorr®, the salt spray chamber exposes treated and untreated samples to a controlled, accelerated corrosive environment.
At Plasmatreat, collaboration is central to how the company works. It will take the time to understand specific challenges and provide practical solutions that help optimize processes, enhance product performance, and shorten time to market.
For those unable to visit in person, virtual consultations and demos are also available.
