Moore Enviro-Chemical: Hot-Aqueous-Soluble Adhesives
July 26, 2000
This company has produced a series of new bonding adhesives that are completely dissolved by hot, aqueous chemistries. Solvents are no longer needed to de-bond and clean parts when these thermoplastic bonding films and blocking agents are used. The products offer high adhesion and structural stability to a range of substrates, enabling easy cutting, grinding or polishing processes. The films, ULTRA MEC TFA and ULTRA MEC TFG, are produced in thicknesses of 4 and 8 mils, respectively. The blocking agents, ULTRA MEC T50 and ULTRA MEC T85, are offered in bulk form and provide structural characteristics similar to those seen in the films.
