New 3M Water-Contact Indicator Tape 5557 provides clear evidence of water damage. When water contacts the edges of this tape, the tape color changes permanently from white to red. The red indicates water contact without false identification from high humidity. The layers of this tape include a printable, transparent PET top film, a water-contact indicator layer, a high-strength acrylic adhesive, and a polyester release liner that combines with the indicator layer for easy and accurate die cutting.
