Moisture-Curing Hot Melt Adhesives by Worthen Industries
This company’s UPACO Adhesives Div. has recently introduced two unique adhesives, PF-1122 and PF-1132. Both of these hot melts are polyurethane-based, moisture-curing adhesives that gain their full properties after reaction with ambient moisture. Their uniqueness is due to their ability to be coated onto one surface only and then heat-reactivated within a three-hour window to be bonded to the other substrate. The two adhesives differ in the degree of green strength, melt viscosity and reactivation temperature that they contain.
