Accumetric LLC
Accumetric, LLC, manufactures, packages and markets adhesives, sealants, lubricants and related products. The ISO 9002-certified company manufactures or purchases product in bulk from major domestic and foreign suppliers and packages these various products into cartridges, tubes, sausages, bottles, cans and other smaller containers. The packaged products are privately labeled or sold nationally and internationally under the Boss in-house label to OEMs and through numerous wholesale distributors.
The company operates in five business segments: Accumetric-branded product, marketed under the BOSS brand name; the Dynatex brand name; private labeling/custom packaging/contract packaging; the manufacturing of high-performance silicone sealants, lubricants and latex products specially formulated to meet the unique requirements of the markets served; and Meter-Mix dispensing equipment.
Accumetric markets, through distribution, an extensive line of adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other specialty products under the BOSS label. The distributors then sell these adhesives, sealants and lubricants primarily to the construction, industrial MRO, HVAC, RV and manufactured housing, insulation, cultured marble, automotive aftermarket, pool and spa, paint and sundries, and electrical and electronics industries.
The Dynatex business markets silicone compounds, lubricants, cleaners and custom-packaged products to the automotive aftermarket. These products are sold nationally and internationally through wholesale distributors under the Dynatex brand name.
The Accumetric Custom Packaging/Contract Packaging business provides innovative solutions for all private-label packaging requirements. High- and low-viscosity materials, multi-component compounds, and moisture- and oxygen-sensitive formulations are just a few of the more demanding products packaged by our experienced and quality-minded production staff.
In 1996, the purchase of the John W. Blair Co. established Accumetric as a major source for packaging multi-component materials, e.g. two-component epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones, acrylics, etc. The John W. Blair Division has more than 30 years of experience in providing repackaging services to most of the major adhesives manufacturers in the industry.
Meter-Mix, a division of Accumetric, LLC, was founded 30 years ago to provide innovative solutions for the most demanding metering, mixing and dispensing problems. When the customer’s application demands metering, mixing and dispensing equipment that is accurate, reliable, easy to operate and maintain, and economically priced, Meter-Mix is the solution.
In recent years, international sales have provided a rapid growth platform for the company. Accumetric currently markets and distributes products in more than 70 countries, with the major markets being the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America. We continue to increase our international presence and expect international sales to continue to have significant growth.
The company’s modern packaging and manufacturing plants are located in Elizabethtown, Ky. Accumetric Engineered Products (AEP) manufactures adhesives, sealants and compounds in our modern manufacturing facility, completed in 1996. This new facility includes a fully equipped development laboratory to support the growing market for specially formulated materials. Sales offices are maintained in Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; Phoenix; Columbus, Ohio; and Thailand. The facilities in Elizabethtown also serve as corporate headquarters, housing Accumetric’s administrative, marketing and sales offices.
With the momentum Accumetric has built in the international markets, and now more than 3,000 U.S. stocking distributors covering the markets served, Accumetric is well-positioned for double-digit growth into the 21st century.
