HUNTSMAN: Surfactants (11/10/09)
The Performance Products division of Huntsman Corp. has
launched a new range of easy-to-use surfactants for high-performance wetting
and dispersancy applications that, according to ISO tests, are readily
biodegradable, do not require classification as dangerous goods, and
demonstrate lower aquatic toxicity than conventional surfactants.
HYDRAPOL® RP series non-ionic surfactants can be sued in the formulation of domestic and industrial detergents, leather degreasers, scouring detergents, textile and paper processing chemicals, processing additives, and adhesives. They are currently manufactured at Huntsman’s plant in Botany Bay, Australia, with plans to expand elsewhere.
