Concert™ series temperature controllers reportedly provide an easy, economical way to increase application flexibility and capacity of material melters. The controllers can allow individual temperature control of up to six heating zones for each melter, enabling a single melter to serve multiple individual applications at the same time. The capability to maximize melter usage can benefit a range of manufacturing environments, including nonwovens construction, product assembly and packaging applications.

The Concert temperature controllers use the Nordson Optix™ touchscreen interface. Upper and lower temperature limits can be established for each individual channel. In addition, the temperature standby mode reduces adhesive char and degradation.
