This company recently announced its new OmniCure® AC5 Series UV LED systems for small area curing. Designed with a combination of high output LEDs and custom optics, the OmniCure AC550/P and AC575/P air-cooled UV LED curing systems can provide high irradiance (14W/cm2), enabling manufacturers to achieve high productivity while the long lifetime and lower electrical consumption of the LEDs reduce running costs.

The systems reportedly provide a reliable UV light source for curing inks, adhesives and coatings in industrial and electronics manufacturing applications, as well as printing applications such as labels, bar coding, and package printing. The high irradiance LED technology can cure adhesives at a low temperature for sensitive components used in medical device and electronics manufacturing.
