Keith Tellman, technical service representative for thermosets at Chromaflo Technologies, recently achieved the Certified Composites Technician–Instructor certification through the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA). Tellman joins a group of 51 total certified instructors across the U.S.

Developed by ACMA, the Certified Composites Technician (CCT) course is the only certification program of its kind in the composites industry. It provides core knowledge in nine specialties, covering a range of products and processes within the composites industry. The CCT program is designed to meet the need for uniform training and technical skills and elevate industry standards of excellence.

Tellman joined Chromaflo in 2018. In his current role, he provides technical support to the company’s Top Target programs and opportunities in thermoset plastics. He also directly interacts with Chromaflo customers to bring resolution to problems and satisfy customer needs. Tellman holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science degree in chemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He also is a Certified Composites Technician in Compression Molding (CCT-CM).

“We encourage every opportunity for professional development at Chromaflo, especially with the specialized, highly technical nature of our industry,” said Paula Watt, technical service manager- thermosets, Chromaflo Technologies. “Keith is an exemplary team member, and his expertise as a Certified Composites Technician Instructor will help provide valuable benefits for our customers and his colleagues in thermoset composites technology.”
