Do I Need This? (4/24/09)

We all know that businesses in the adhesives and sealants industry have been taking a good, hard look at what they can and cannot live without in the wake of the global recession, but what about Joe Average?  In yesterday’s New York Times Business section, Floyd Norris examined a recent Pew Research Center poll that asked this same question and got some surprising results.  Read the article here.

So what indulgence could you do without? For me, the answer is a cell phone and cable TV (much to the consternation/amazement of almost everyone I know), but this blog isn’t about me.
