The New York Times reported that respondents to a new survey were most concerned about China’s economic muscle. Some 54% of Americans reportedly have an unfavorable view of China, and eight out of 10 Americans see serious problems with China on several key economic, security and social issues. Last week, we asked if you agreed with this assessment.

Readers overwhelmingly agreed, with 91% responding “Yes.”

One participant said, “China is causing many global problems; irresponsible and unsafe manufacturing, unfair pricing/trade, cyber security/hacking, human rights violations, etc. Message to Chinese leaders: Clean up your act!”
