Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) recently announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Sharjah, UAE. The new plant reportedly will produce polyesters and prepolymers, and will also increase the company’s polyurethane and polyester polyol production capacity.

“We aim to further expand our regional footprint by adding additional locations to the existing network of system houses in UAE and Egypt, distribution and TS centers in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Algeria and Nigeria and representative offices in Shanghai and Beirut,” said Hassane Baalbaki, holding chairman. “Proximity to markets and customer intimacy remain a fundamental part of our strategy.”
