PPG Makes America’s Most Responsible Companies List for Fifth Consecutive Year

PPG has been named to Newsweek magazine’s America’s Most Responsible Companies list for the fifth consecutive year. The top 2,000 public companies were considered for the 2025 list, which recognizes the 600 most responsible companies in the United States. PPG ranks number 110 overall and number eight in the Materials and Chemicals industry category.
"This recognition reflects our commitment to leveraging sustainability and corporate social responsibility as a means to serve our customers’ evolving needs and drive operational excellence," said Peter Votruba-Drzal, PPG vice president, global sustainability. “As part of our growth strategy, we focus on new product and process innovations that serve our customers and enable efficiency in the value chain.”
PPG reports that the America’s Most Responsible Companies 2025 ranking focuses on a holistic view of corporate responsibility that considers environment, social and governance factors. Companies in the 2025 list were selected based on a review of publicly available data and a survey of 26,000 U.S. residents about their perceptions of companies related to corporate social responsibility.
