Celanese to Increase Prices in the Western Hemisphere for Vinyl Acetate Monomer and Derivatives

Specialty materials provider Celanese Corp. is increasing prices for its vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), vinyl-based emulsions, redispersible powders (RDP), and other derivative products in the Western Hemisphere. These price increases will be effective on March 17, 2025, or as contracts otherwise allow.
In the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America, VAM will increase by $100/mt. In EMEA, VAM will increase €100/mt.
Vinyl-based emulsions* will increase $50/mt in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America. They will increase €50/mt in EMEA.
Redispersible Powders* will increase $60/mt in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America. In EMEA, the product will increase €60/mt.
