WACKER Raises Prices for Dispersions and Dispersible Polymer Powders in North America

WACKER announced price increases for all domestically produced dispersions and dispersible polymers powders in North America. The company cited significant disruption globally that has resulted in increased costs for raw materials and logistics.
To compensate for higher regional raw material and freight costs, WACKER reported that the company found it necessary to adjust prices for all domestic produced dispersions and polymer powders. WACKER will raise its prices for polymer dispersions and dispersible polymer powders by up to 10%, effective from April 1, 2026, or as contractual agreements allow.
WACKER’s Polymers division is a leading producer of binders and polymeric additives based on polyvinyl acetate and vinyl acetate copolymers and terpolymers. These take the form of dispersible polymer powders, dispersions, solid resins, and solutions. They are used in construction chemicals, paints, surface coatings, adhesives and nonwovens, as well as in fiber composites and polymeric materials based on renewable resources. The division’s focus is on tomorrow’s sustainable construction market, where its products are making a significant contribution. Learn more at www.wacker.com.
