Amrize Invests $1 Million to Expand Manufacturing Facility in Georgia

Amrize recently celebrated a new chapter for its Adhesives, Coatings & Sealants business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of a $1 million modernization of its Norcross, Georgia, manufacturing facility. The investment expands the site's manufacturing and R&D capabilities while supporting continued growth of the Tacky Tape® and GacoSeal® product lines for aerospace, composites, and construction applications.
Joining Amrize leaders and community partners at the event were Peachtree Corners Mayor Mike Mason and Nick Masino, president and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett.
Completed over the past year, the project included production floor renovations, a remodeled quality assurance laboratory, new R&D equipment, and manufacturing technology upgrades that improve production visibility. Amrize also established a new Sealant Tape Research & Development Center of Excellence at the facility to support future product development.
"This milestone investment allows us to pioneer next-generation composite tapes for the rapidly expanding aerospace and satellite sectors," said Konrad Wernthaler, president, Gaco & Enverge. "By pushing the boundaries of what is possible in these high-tech markets, we are advancing the industry while supporting regional economic growth."
The upgrades are expected to streamline manufacturing operations, strengthen support for Gaco's Tacky Tape products for aerospace and composites and GacoSeal products for metal building construction, and enhance process controls, production monitoring, and quality assurance capabilities.
"By leveraging enhanced, data-driven insights, our team is better positioned to anticipate and meet our customers' evolving demands," said Zouhir Adlani, plant manager of the Norcross facility.
