Oxea Announces Price Increases for Oxo Intermediates
Citing supply and demand, sustained increases in raw material and energy costs, and supply chain costs, Oxea announced that it will increase prices for certain oxo intermediates effective Oct. 1, 2026, or as contracts allow.
In Europe, 2-ethylhexanol will increase €70/mt; n-butanol and isobutanol will increase €60/mt; and n-butyl acetate, isobutyl acetate, n-propanol, and n-propyl acetate will increase €50/mt. Neopentyl glycol (NPG) molten will increase €80/mt, and NPG slurry 90% will increase €60/mt.
In North America and Mexico, 2-ethylhexanol will increase $0.035/lb.
In the rest of the world, 2-ethylhexanol will increase $80/mt; n-butanol and isobutanol will increase $70/mt; and n-butyl acetate will increase $60/mt.
