EMI: UV Light/Heat Curable Adhesive
A UV light and/or heat-curing adhesive, EMCAST 3415 GEN 2 is available for sampling. It features all of the properties of the 3415 (with the added benefit of an extended shelf life) and can be shipped without refrigeration. This 100-percent solids, medium viscosity, one-component epoxy-based formulation can be cured by exposure to UV light in the 320-380nm wavelength range and/or with heat above 110 degrees C to cure shadowed areas. 3415 GEN 2 cures to rigid materials with a Shore D hardness of 92. The adhesive exhibits strong adhesion to a variety of metals and ceramic surfaces.
