I&J Fisnar has announced the availability of a new series of Gantry-Cartesian dispensing robots with working areas up to 32" x 34" and high-speed movement up to 800 mm/sec. The I&J6000 industrial robots are ideal for dispensing applications requiring an economical but high-quality solution to automated manufacturing, including conveyor operations and work cells that require XYZ movement above the work. Examples are form-in-place gaskets, seals, bonding, encapsulation and potting applications. These new robots use stepping-servo motors that provide control of the 3 axes, which fully interpolate all axes and provide continuous path or point-to-point dispensing. Programming is accomplished through an easy-to-learn teach pendant, using simple step-by-step instructions.
