EDITOR'S MEMO: Gearing Up for the New Year
As another year comes to a close, it is wonderful to have this opportunity to wish all of our readers, advertisers and contributors a happy holiday season.
From an editor's perspective, I want to especially thank those who contribute our feature stories and departments. My hat goes off to you for being so gracious, cooperative and understanding. I know that sometimes I nag you about an impending deadline, and yet it is still months before you get to see your article in print. I bug you for artwork, and after you send the best you can find, I nag you again for better quality. Many times I ask for new figures because the files don't work or the quality is too poor. But we work through it together, and when the issue finally comes out in print, we have a magazine filled with high-quality editorial that pleases both you and our readers. I thank you for that.
Many exciting developments are in the works for us in the upcoming year. We are proud to be expanding to 12 issues in 2005 - a first for ASI! We will also expand our end-user coverage with four ASI EndUser sections in the magazine, including editorial on adhesives for electronics/electrical, construction/wood products, packaging and assembly.
