Dow Automotive has received two corporate-wide certifications for quality and environmental management systems. The quality certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, Inc. (LRQA) encompasses all of Dow Automotive's globally owned assets and asset partners - more than 50 manufacturing and support sites worldwide. The corporate environmental certification, also from LRQA, presently covers 12 sites. Eleven additional environmental certifications are still stand-alone site certifications. Both certifications result from Dow Automotive's single integrated business management system. "The ISO/TS-16949 quality certification provides customers with the assurance that Dow Automotive is supplying materials from quality-certified manufacturing processes and can support work processes from any point within the Dow Automotive system," said Don Little, director of Business Management Systems.
