Dow Corning Adds Expertise To Surface and Interface Solutions Center
Dow Corning has expanded the expertise of its Surface and Interface Solutions Center (SISC) in Seneffe, Belgium, with the addition of Valerie Smits as compounding senior specialist in the plastic and rubber compounding lab, and with Laurence Stelandre as filler senior specialist in the materials science group. Smits will manage the plastic and rubber laboratory, as well as evaluate and develop silane application for the plastic and rubber markets, such as dynamic vulcanization, crosslinking, and composites using in-situ or pre-treated filler. Stelandre will design and develop filler/interface/matrix systems, with an emphasis on the filler contribution.
