Solutia Inc. has announced that its CPFilms business has completed installation and successful start-up of a new state-of-the-art metallizing production line at its manufacturing facility in Martinsville, VA.
Solutia Inc. has announced that its CPFilms business, a leading manufacturer of precision-coated films for industrial, commercial and solar control applications, has completed installation and successful start-up of a new state-of-the-art metallizing production line at its manufacturing facility in Martinsville, VA. According to Keith Dalton, vice president of Coating & Laminating and Vacuum Coating for Solutia's CPFilms business, "Adding this new metallizing line will help us continue to grow and enhance our solar control window films business, as well as meet the emerging needs of the precision coated films segment." The new metallizing line is housed in a specially constructed 9,000 sq. ft. addition to the Martinsville plant facility.
