Henkel Corp. has introduced nine new products for maintenance and repair applications, including fast-setting adhesives, high-performance adhesives, plastic bonders, metal bonders and wood bonders.

The latest Loctite^® adhesive innovations have been specially formulated to provide tough, durable bonds to a wide variety of surfaces. This new line:

High Performance

Loctite Ultra-Tough Bonder – A two-component epoxy containing Kevlar^TM, providing exceptional shock, vibration, impact, and peel resistance for the most demanding structural bonding applications in an MRO working environment.

Loctite High-Temp Bonder – An off-white, two-component epoxy paste that combines high strength at room temperature with exceptional performance in high temperature environments up to 400°F.

Loctite Chemical Resistant Bonder – A black, flowable, two-component epoxy exhibiting exceptional resistance to 20 common corrosive and aggressive chemicals, including acetone, MEK, methanol, IPA, diethyl ether, furfural, toluene, glycol, hexane and many others commonly found in a MRO working environment.

Fast Setting

Loctite 30-Second Bonder – An amber, single-component, toughened, activator-cure acrylic with no mixing, no measuring, no mess, and minimal clamping. The bonder sets in 20 seconds and develops full strength in 30 minutes for quicker return to service. This bonder is ideal for bonding close-fitting parts.

Loctite 5-Minute Bonder – A clear, two-component, five-minute epoxy in a convenient 1:1 mix ratio that bonds virtually any material. It will also fill or seal cracks and rebuild worn surfaces. This bonder sets in five minutes, allowing quick return to service, and provides excellent moisture resistance and toughness.

Loctite Fast Cure Mixer Cups – Grey, pre-measured epoxy mixer cups (the epoxy sets in five minutes) ideally suited for applications requiring only a small amount of epoxy. Fills porosity and cracks, and adheres exceptionally well to metal, glass, wood, and hard plastics.

Plastic Bonding

Loctite Plastic Bonder – An off-white, two-component acrylic that bonds well to most plastics, including PVC, polycarbonate, ABS, and FRP, and requires no surface preparation. Excellent gap filling for use on larger parts. Sets in 25 minutes.

Metal Bonding

Loctite Metal Bonder – An off-white, two-component acrylic that bonds well to most metals including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel. Excellent gap filling for use on larger parts. Sets in 15 minutes.

Wood Bonding

Loctite Power Grab^® Industrial Construction Adhesive – An off-white, single-component, heavy-duty, high-strength, construction-grade adhesive for interior and exterior repairs or building projects.
