Guild CPO Names Southern Clay Supplier of the Year
Guild CPO, a global buying cooperative serving 70 coatings manufacturers, has named Southern Clay Products Inc. its 2010 Supplier of the Year.
“We look at a variety of criteria in selecting our Supplier of the Year,” said Dan Kerr, Guild CPO president. “Our Supplier of the Year must offer new, innovative products and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction. In addition, our Supplier of the Year must have the ability to provide consistent supply and provide overall support to customers here and abroad.”
Southern Clay Products has worked with Guild CPO for almost a decade. According to Lisa McLaughlin of the Chemical Raw Materials Committee for Guild CPO, “We launched our European Division two years ago, and it is growing rapidly. We are hoping to expand our relationship with Southern Clay Products into Europe very soon.”
This is the first time Southern Clay Products has been given the title. Previous award winners include BASF, Huntsman, and Rohm and Haas.
