A new product resulting from a collaborative effort between Preferred Sands LLC and The Dow Chemical Co. has been named by R&D Magazine as one of the 100 most influential innovations in 2013. Preferred RCS™ resin-coated sand with Dow TERAFORCE™ Technology received an R&D 100 Award for its role in helping improve oil productivity and the environmental profile of the hydraulic fracturing process.
