F4921 is a new epoxy primer in this company’s DELFLEET^® Evolution commercial paint system. The 2.1-VOC (volatile organic compound) gray primer can reportedly be applied to a range of substrates, such as cold rolled steel, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, galvaneal, fiberglass and cured surfaces. The fast-drying epoxy can be topcoated as a primer sealer in as little as 30 min, making it a high-value choice for production-conscious collision centers. The primer also offers superior adhesion and corrosion resistance, which makes it useful for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and repair shops. It can be applied over bare metal as a protective layer or as a sealer over existing finishes.
