Total Cray Valley (TCV) recently announced that it has started construction on its new C4 chemical manufacturing plant in Carling, France. TCV reportedly will use the new plant to produce liquid polybutadiene. With the ability to produce several thousand tons of product per year, the plant expands the company’s global position in polybutadiene production, both in volume and range of functionality. The plant is scheduled to go live in October.

“This plant allows us to provide customers with not only the largest quantity, but also the widest range of product functionalities on the market,” said Dominique Vincent, CEO. “It proves that we are continually finding ways to invest in the best and most relevant solutions for our customers.”
