Ashland recently announced it has ended the sales control for 1-4 butanediol (BDO) and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (M-Pyrol) in North America. The move reportedly follows the successful restart of Ashland’s BDO plant in Lima, Ohio, which had been down for scheduled maintenance.
