Maroon Group Becomes Certified Member of RSPO
As a certified member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Maroon Group will partner with Certified Sustainable Palm Oil producers that comply with a set of environmental and social criteria developed by RSPO.
Maroon Group recently announced that it is now a certified member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). As a certified member of RSPO, Maroon Group will partner with Certified Sustainable Palm Oil producers that comply with a set of environmental and social criteria developed by RSPO. When following these criteria, the negative impact of palm oil cultivation on the environment and communities in palm oil-producing regions is minimized.
In addition to becoming a certified member of RSPO, Maroon Group reports that it is a member of the global initiatives EcoVadis and SQF, is an active member of NACD, and holds ISO and Responsible Distribution certification that covers every phase of chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal. The company has also been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its commitment to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and continuously work to progress as an environmental steward.
