MAPEI’s Storm Recognized as a 2020 Coverings Rock Star
The Coverings Rock Star award is reportedly an emerging leaders program that honors young talent in the tile and stone industry.
The Coverings tile and stone trade show recently announced the 14 winners of its 2020 Rock Star awards, including Brittany Storm, MAPEI’s sustainability manager. The Coverings Rock Star award is reportedly an emerging leaders program that honors young talent in the tile and stone industry.
Storm is a LEED accredited professional (AP) with building design and construction (BD+C) and interior design and construction (ID+C) specialties, as well as a WELL AP and Fitwel ambassador. In addition, she is active in several sustainability committees. According to MAPEI, her background as a sustainable building consultant and her experience in construction management allow her to speak to both big-picture and technical aspects of a project.
“I am honored for the recognition,” Storm said. “Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement.”
The winners were recognized during Coverings Connected, a recent online event that was held in place of Coverings 2020 to avoid community spread of COVID-19. The honorees will also receive a gift card and will be honored with an onsite luncheon during Coverings 2021, which will take place April 13-16 in Orlando, Fla.
