Kraton Corp. recently announced an energy surcharge increase of €250/MT (approximately $290) for all hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (HSBC) products produced in Europe. According to the company, this action is driven by the recent and unprecedented price increases for natural gas, electricity, and CO2 certificates that are substantially affecting production costs in its HSBC plant in Berre, France.

The surcharge will be effective November 1, 2021, and/or subject to the terms of any applicable contracts and obligations. Visit www.kraton.com for more information.
