today announced it has been granted the Frost & Sullivan 2008 Global
Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) Product Innovation Green Excellence of the Year
Award. This award recognizes Merquinsa´s innovation in biopolymers, with its
groundbreaking Bio TPU made from renewable carbon resources and marketed
globally under Pearlthane and Pearlbond ECO brands for a range of
“green” electronics, sports, automotive, footwear, and adhesive applications,
among others.The award
is given to companies that have demonstrated leadership toward implementing
sustainable and environmentally conscious initiatives. Recipient companies have
demonstrated a commitment to a low-carbon society.
