Free Access to Tesla's Patents

Last week, we asked about Tesla Motors’ announced that it will provide access to its patents to other automakers at no charge. We asked: Do you think this is a good idea? Seventy-seven percent of respondents answered yes, while 16% said no and 7% weren’t sure.

“It could be if Tesla then controls/owns all of the hypercharging stations that supply the quick power refills for the batteries.”
