Last week, we asked eNews readers if they’d be willing to take a one-way trip to Mars to help colonize the Red Planet. It turns out that most readers (71%) aren’t willing to go, while 14% each said they would go or would consider going.

Comments:

“This group, Mars One, is 'spaced out' in terms of their aspirations and goal of 2024. My gosh, we haven't even colonized or created an outpost on our moon; shouldn't that be an initial step, rather than Mars?”

“I'm pretty happy where I am.”

“Earth is too small to include George “The Shrub” Bush and me. Better yet, send The Shrub to Mars.”
