FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry, is inviting experts to share their knowledge and experience with an international audience of industry leaders and stakeholders at the FEICA 2024 European Adhesive & Sealant Conference. The event is set to take place at the NH Noordwijk Conference Centre in Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, September 11-13, 2024.

The FEICA 2024 Conference breakout sessions will focus on the theme “Economic Resilience through Sustainable Solutions.”

Against the backdrop of a continuously evolving global landscape, the adhesives and sealants industry faces multifaceted challenges. The FEICA Conference seeks to navigate through these challenges by spotlighting the pivotal role of sustainable solutions in shaping economic resilience. From raw material procurement to manufacturing processes and end-of-life considerations, conference organizers are looking for presentations offering insights into a holistic approach to a more sustainable and economically robust industry, illustrating how innovations not only align with EU sustainability goals but also translate into tangible business advantages.

Focus areas for the 2024 breakout sessions program include:

  • Raw material development, including renewable raw materials and new product applications;
  • Resource-efficient technologies, energy and raw material sourcing, and trends;
  • Eco design and material efficiency, adhesives and sealants as enablers of energy efficiency, and innovations supporting durability, repair and recycling; 
  • Innovative manufacturing technologies, innovation, and growth; 
  • Product innovation, progress in adhesion science, and new chemistry; 
  • Digital technologies, data exchange throughout the value chain (in manufacturing and sales), and automation;
  • Innovating business processes for a sustainable future;
  • Global perspective on industry innovation and sustainable capital investments; and
  • Downstream user perspective in construction, building, civil engineering, electronics, the medical industry, paper and packaging, transportation, the marine industry, do-it-yourself and retail, footwear and leather, woodworking and joinery, and assembly operations.

Abstracts will be reviewed by FEICA’s Review Committee for compliance with the selection criteria. The FEICA Secretariat will inform potential presenters whether their abstract has been accepted or not by the end of May 2024.
