September 9, 2024

These high-speed automatic cartridge filling and closing systems are designed for 10.5-, 14-, and 30-ounce fiber or plastic cartridges. The in-line cartridge filling series from ProSys Fill LLC features horizontal or optional vertical load and unload, volumetric product metering, and cartridge lift mechanisms for a vertical, air-free bottom-up fill. With its three-head cartridge filling and closing, the system enhances production speed and throughput while increasing operational flexibility and efficiency. According to ProSys Fill, the series is offered in models filling up to 110 cartridges per minute.

The versatile series is compatible with a wide variety of cartridge types and supports plastic, metal, and fiber cartridge materials. It can handle products with viscosities up to three million centipoise (cps), making it suitable for a wide range of product viscosities and increasing its application scope.

Offering precision filling (±0.1 percent by volume), the cartridge filling system guarantees accurate filling, minimizing product loss. A vertical bottom up high-speed servo motor provides precise, air-free filling, improving product quality. The system features either a standard reject system or optional downstream check weighing, reducing waste by ensuring that only correctly filled cartridges proceed.

Also included is a plunger insertion feature with an air release system that prevents air entrapment, maintaining product integrity. The robust stainless-steel construction offers durability, easy cleaning, and longevity.

Optional explosion-proof controls are available to enhance safety in hazardous environments. Also available are optional color and additive mixing components to enable product customization. Turnkey and custom designs provide tailored solutions for specific production needs.
