Henkel and Nordmeccanica Form Strategic Partnership to Advance Sustainable Solutions for Flexible Packaging Market

Henkel and Nordmeccanica announced the elevation of their longstanding collaboration into a strategic partnership. This move aims to accelerate innovation in sustainable packaging technologies, particularly focusing on high-performance adhesives and advanced machinery for flexible packaging applications. Nordmeccanica S.p.A. is a leading manufacturer of coating, laminating and metallizing technology. The company has engaged in a strong and trusted cooperation with Henkel over the past 30 years.
The partnership will concentrate on co-developing integrated solutions that combine Henkel’s adhesive technologies with Nordmeccanica’s coating and laminating equipment. This collaboration is designed to enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and meet the evolving demands of the packaging industry. By combining machinery with adhesives, functional coatings and deep application expertise, the two companies create offerings that benefit not only converters, but also brand owners, retailers, end users, and recycling companies. At the same time, the partnership also supports the further development of digital processes and data evaluation, which contributes to more efficient and sustainable operations. Sharing knowledge is also a key part of the new partnership, with joint technical training and marketing activities.
