The Bodo Möller Chemie Group announced that on June 1, 2025, the company integrated the client base of Spanish specialty chemicals distributor Química Tecnológica Norte S.L. (Quitec) into its distribution network. Quitec is a long-standing distribution partner of Henkel’s in industrial surface treatment. Bodo Möller Chemie reports that the acquisition is proactively reinforcing its market position in Spain while intensifying its strategic partnership with Henkel.

The increase in demand for sustainable, process-oriented solutions in surface treatment requires a local presence, technical expertise, and strong partnerships. In view of this situation, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group is continuing its growth trajectory while integrating client contacts from the distribution network established by Henkel's long-standing partner Quitec. Based in San Sebastián, Spain, the company specializes in the distribution of specialty chemical products for industrial applications. Its portfolio contains items such as industrial cleaning agents and paint pretreatment products. One focus is on marketing the Henkel brand Bonderite, which provides process-optimizing solutions in surface technology — from cleaning and metal pretreatment through to maintenance and corrosion protection. The products are primarily used in paint and degreasing systems, by metal finishers, and in the manufacturing industry.
