KRAHN Chemie to Distribute Mitsubishi Chemical Europe's Polycarbonatediol

KRAHN Chemie recently announced an agreement with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH (MCE) to distribute the company’s BENEBiOL™ polycarbonatediol in Poland, Italy, and Benelux. MCE recently announced the launch of new high-biomass grades of BENEBiOL, called S grades. The product now features grades with biobased content ranging from 20% to 90%, offering a significant step forward for sustainable manufacturing, without compromising on performance.
BENEBiOL is a pioneering polycarbonatediol (PCD) primarily used as a raw material in polyurethane resins. These resins are essential for applications such as coatings and adhesives, as well as other industrial applications. The product offers superior flexibility while maintaining excellent chemical resistance, stain resistance to enhance durability, and a unique tactile feel, ideal for premium finishes.
MCE recent introduction of the HSS and NLDS grades marks a leap forward for BENEBiOL, increasing its biobased content up to 90% at specific grades. This comprehensive range allows manufacturers to meet growing consumer demand for biobased products and transition to renewable materials without sacrificing performance, as it is a drop-in solution.
As a trusted distributor of BENEBiOL, KRAHN Chemie reports that the company can offer customers technical excellence through our deep understanding of the product’s innovative design and proven capabilities as well as biobased solutions with accurately measured biobased content according to ASTM method D6866.
