Novopor Advanced Science Expands in United States with FAR Chemical Acquisition
Novopor Advanced Science Private Limited, a Bain Capital portfolio company and global performance chemicals and material science CDMO, recently announced its acquisition of FAR Chemical, a U.S.-based leader in custom and complex specialty chemical manufacturing focused on electronics, aerospace and defense, coatings and adhesives and other specialty chemicals, from its U.S. parent CPS Performance Materials Group, which is a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners.
The companies involved in the acquisition report that the deal is a key milestone in Novopor’s strategy to build an integrated specialty chemical platform that delivers end-to-end solutions to customers ranging from early-stage process development to commercial scale manufacturing. Integrating FAR Chemical’s deep expertise in complex chemistries and attractive end markets complements Novopor’s existing capabilities and expands its presence in the United States.
