DOPAG: Drum-Change Equipment

In view of increasingly stringent requirements for work safety and worker protection, more industrial companies are setting maximum load limits of 15 kg. However, drums for lubricants and adhesives often exceed this limit. To address this situation, DOPAG has developed a range of drum-change equipment that makes work in production significantly easier and more efficient.
The drum change equipment is suitable for lubricant and adhesive pumps, which are available in three sizes: 30, 80, and 200 liters. The following versions are available:
- Drum roll-in mechanism: With a roller attached, 200-liter drums can be lifted onto the pump base plate and positioned with ease and minimal effort.
- Integrated drum roller conveyor: The integrated drum roller conveyor makes operation even easier and allows full mobility of the 200-liter containers. The container can be pushed completely to the rear and centered under the pump lifter via several rollers.
- Drum pallet: The drum pallet is the third and final expansion stage for the 200-litre pumps. The transportable pallet design eliminates the need to lift the drum. The entire container is changed using the lift truck, which is used to remove the empty container and bring in the new one. This reduces the workload for the operator and saves time when changing drums. By using several pallets, the drums can be pre-positioned and prepared in the warehouse, so that drum changes can be carried out with minimal effort and production interruptions are reduced.
- Drum trolley: For the smaller container sizes (30 and 80 litres), DOPAG has designed an easily movable drum trolley with integrated rollers. Similar to the drum pallet, this can be moved directly under the pump lifter.
With DOPAG's drum changing equipment, customers can work safely, efficiently and in a resource-saving manner. The advantages for operators include increased occupational safety, high operating comfort and ergonomic safety, reduced strain on operators, and efficient and time-saving drum changing.
