Water‑based Epotal^® laminating adhesives support packaging recycling within existing infrastructures and processes. The adhesives are designed for easy separation of materials in PET‑based multilayer packaging and for producing safe recyclates from mono‑material films without harmful substances such as primary aromatic amines (PAA). When combined with several layers of film, they offer good mechanical stability, good printability or light impermeability in PPWR-ready packaging. These adhesives facilitate laminated packaging that is safe under head stress, can be fully compostable for home-compostable food packaging, and fully debondable PET/PE for recycling on PET-based multi-layers.
