Westlake Epoxy’s Texas Site Receives ISCC PLUS Certification

Westlake Corp. recently announced that its Westlake Epoxy plant in Deer Park, Texas, has received International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS. The certification covers liquid epoxy resins (LER), solid epoxy resins (SER), and liquid epoxy blends that combine LER with reactive modifiers, serving key end-use segments such as industrial coatings, construction, wind energy, composites, automotive, and electronics. Going forward, existing and new customers will have access to these ISCC+ mass balance-attributed content of certified renewable feedstock. The products maintain the same quality, performance, and specifications as Westlake’s standard epoxy resins.

With its Duisburg, Germany, and now Deer Park plants certified, Westlake Epoxy is broadening access to ISCC PLUS mass‑balance-attributed epoxy resin using certified renewable feedstock across Europe and North America to help customers meet their sustainability targets.
